New single “Vengeance” released on May 1st. Check it out and read the story behind the song!

The song “Vengeance” is inspired by the movie Ghost Trail – original French title Les Fantômes. The fictional drama by French director Jonathan Millet is based on true events.

The Syrian Hamid has survived the horrors of the notorious Syrian torture prison Sednaya. He flees to Europe and joins a secret group of Syrian survivors. These “shadow fighters” operate covertly, attempting to track down war criminals and torturers from the Assad regime who are hiding in European cities, in order to bring them to justice and achieve accountability. The “shadow fighters” portrayed in the film, who search for perpetrators across Europe, are inspired by real networks of activists, lawyers and survivors who collect evidence and enable legal proceedings.

The song’s lyrics go even further, extending this example to various countries where citizens and people from other nations are oppressed, imprisoned and tortured.
